1
Stand facing the pull-up bar on the machine with feet hip-width apart. Grip the horizontal handles with hands slightly wider than shoulder-width, using an overhand or neutral grip. Maintain an upright torso with slight knee bend.
2
Establish a firm grip on the handles and ensure full arm extension above your head. Engage your core and prepare to initiate the pulling motion by retracting your scapula.
3
Slowly lower your body by allowing your arms to extend while maintaining control. Keep your torso upright and resist the downward movement through lat engagement. Lower until arms are nearly fully extended without locking elbows.
4
Drive through your lats by pulling your elbows down and back toward your hips. Depress and retract your scapula to bring your body upward. Return to the starting position with arms extended, squeezing lats at the top before repeating.
