1
Stand with feet hip-width to shoulder-width apart, arms at sides or ready to raise overhead. Maintain neutral spine alignment with chest upright and shoulders back.
2
Engage core and prepare to jump. Position weight evenly across both feet with knees slightly bent. Arms can be positioned at sides or prepared to swing upward for momentum.
3
Lower body by bending knees and hips, descending into a squat position with thighs approaching parallel to ground. Keep chest upright and weight distributed through heels and midfoot. Arms swing downward or remain elevated depending on variation.
4
Explosively extend hips and knees, driving through legs to propel body upward off ground. Simultaneously swing arms upward to generate momentum and height. Land softly with bent knees to absorb impact, then immediately descend into next repetition or hold landing position.
