1
Lie flat on your back on a mat or floor with arms extended alongside your body, palms down. Keep your head neutral and lower back pressed against the floor.
2
Engage your core and position your legs extended in front of you. One leg remains stationary on the floor while the other prepares to lift upward.
3
Lower the working leg by extending the knee while maintaining a controlled eccentric movement, allowing the quadriceps to lengthen as the leg approaches the floor without making contact.
4
Drive the heel upward and raise the leg by extending and lifting from the quadriceps, returning to the starting position with the leg raised and knee extended at approximately 45-60 degrees.
