Lower both legs toward the floor in a controlled manner by allowing hip flexion, moving through a range that maintains lower back contact with the floor, stopping before touching down

Raise both legs back to the starting position by extending at the hip and contracting the quadriceps and iliopsoas, returning to the elevated position with legs straight
