EZ Barbell Seated Close Grip Concentration Curl

Instructions

1
Sit upright on a bench with feet firmly planted on the floor. Hold a dumbbell in each hand with arms extended downward at your sides, palms facing forward (supinated grip). Maintain an upright torso throughout the movement.
2
Position yourself with shoulders back and chest up. Keep elbows close to the torso and locked in position. Establish a neutral spine with core engaged. Ensure full arm extension at the starting position.
3
Lower the dumbbells in a controlled manner by extending the elbows, allowing the weight to descend toward the floor while maintaining the supinated grip. Keep elbows stationary and prevent momentum from driving the movement. Lower until arms approach full extension without locking out the elbows.
4
Curl the dumbbells upward by flexing at the elbows, driving the weight toward shoulder height. Maintain the supinated grip and keep elbows fixed at your sides throughout the movement. Squeeze the biceps at the top of the movement, then return to the starting position with control.
