Position hands slightly wider than shoulder-width apart with underhand grip on barbell. Maintain neutral spine and slight knee bend. Keep elbows fixed at sides throughout movement

Lower the barbell in a controlled manner by extending the elbows, allowing the weight to descend toward the thighs while maintaining elbow position and neutral wrist alignment

Drive through the biceps to flex the elbows and curl the barbell upward toward shoulder height, squeezing the biceps at the top. Return to starting position with control
