1
Stand upright with feet shoulder-width apart, knees slightly bent, core engaged. Hold a barbell with both hands using an underhand (supinated) grip, arms fully extended at sides with palms facing forward. Bar should be held at hip level.
2
Grip the barbell with hands positioned slightly wider than shoulder-width apart. Maintain neutral spine and keep elbows fixed against the sides of the torso throughout the movement. Brace your core and engage your legs for stability.
3
Lower the barbell in a controlled manner by straightening the elbows, allowing the bar to descend toward the hips while maintaining the supinated grip. Keep elbows stationary and tucked to the body. Extend until arms are nearly fully extended without locking the elbows.
4
Curl the barbell upward by flexing at the elbows, bringing the bar toward the shoulders in a smooth arc. Keep elbows fixed in place and maintain the supinated grip. Raise the bar until the biceps are fully contracted at approximately chest level, then return to starting position in a controlled manner.
