Prepare by taking a deep breath and maintaining neutral arm position. No external load or grip required for bodyweight version.

Slowly raise both arms out to the sides in a controlled manner, maintaining a slight elbow bend throughout the movement. Lower arms back to starting position with control.

Lift arms laterally to approximately shoulder height or slightly above, creating a 'T' position with the body. Pause briefly at top, then return arms to sides in a controlled eccentric motion.
