1
Start in a full plank position with hands shoulder-width apart, arms fully extended, body in a straight line from head to heels, core engaged, and feet together or hip-width apart
2
Prepare by tightening core muscles and maintaining neutral spine alignment. Ensure shoulders are positioned directly over wrists and glutes are engaged to prevent sagging hips
3
Lower your body by bending at the elbows while keeping them close to your torso, lowering in a controlled manner until chest nearly touches the ground, maintaining a rigid plank position throughout
4
Drive through palms and contract chest and triceps to push body back to starting plank position, keeping core tight and body aligned, completing one repetition
