1
Stand upright with feet shoulder-width apart, holding dumbbells at your sides with arms extended and palms facing inward. Maintain an erect posture with shoulders back and core engaged.
2
Take a controlled step forward with one leg, keeping your torso upright. Your front foot should land flat with knee aligned over ankle.
3
Lower your body by bending both knees, descending until your back knee nearly touches the ground and front knee reaches approximately 90 degrees. Keep your torso vertical and front knee behind your toes.
4
Drive through your front heel to extend both legs and return to the starting position. Push off the ground powerfully to complete one repetition, then alternate legs or repeat on the same side as prescribed.
