1
Stand upright with feet shoulder-width apart, knees slightly bent, and core engaged. Hold dumbbells at your sides with arms fully extended and palms facing forward.
2
Maintain a neutral spine and slight forward lean from the ankles if needed. Position dumbbells with a neutral grip width, keeping elbows close to the torso throughout the movement.
3
Lower the dumbbells in a controlled manner by extending the elbows, allowing the weight to travel downward while maintaining the forward-facing palm orientation. Control the eccentric phase for 2-3 seconds.
4
Flex the elbows and curl the dumbbells upward toward the shoulders, squeezing the biceps at the top of the movement. Return to the starting position with arms fully extended and repeat.
