1
Sit on floor in reclined position with torso leaning back at approximately 45 degrees. Hold a dumbbell with both hands at chest height. Legs are extended straight out in front with feet slightly elevated off ground.
2
Grip dumbbell firmly with both hands at center. Engage core and establish stable seated position. Position legs parallel to ground, maintaining tension throughout lower body.
3
Lower torso backward by extending through the spine while simultaneously bending knees and drawing legs toward torso. Control the movement by extending the dumbbell weight away from body as you recline further, allowing abs to lengthen.
4
Explosively drive through abdominal muscles to pull torso upright while simultaneously extending legs away from body in a controlled manner. Return to starting position with legs extended and torso at 45-degree angle.
