Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, holding dumbbells at sides with arms extended. Keep chest up, shoulders back, and core engaged. Position feet pointing forward.

Hold dumbbells with neutral grip (palms facing inward) at your sides. Take a controlled breath and prepare to step forward with one leg, maintaining upright posture.

Step forward with one leg, lowering your body by bending both knees until the rear knee nearly touches the ground. The front knee should track over the ankle and not extend past the toes. Keep torso upright.

Push through the front heel to drive back to starting position, extending both legs. Alternate legs and repeat the stepping pattern, returning to the neutral standing position between each repetition.
