1
Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, neutral spine, chest up, and core engaged. Hold a dumbbell in each hand with arms extended at sides, palms facing forward.
2
Maintain a neutral grip on dumbbells with palms supinated (facing forward). Keep elbows fixed at sides throughout the movement, slightly ahead of the body midline.
3
Lower the dumbbells in a controlled manner by extending the elbows, allowing the biceps to lengthen. Keep elbows stationary and maintain full control throughout the descent until near full elbow extension.
4
Flex the elbows and curl the dumbbells upward toward the shoulders by contracting the biceps. Return to the starting position with arms fully extended at sides, maintaining constant tension on the biceps throughout the movement.
