Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, knees slightly bent, core engaged. Hold dumbbells at shoulder height with arms bent at 90 degrees, palms facing forward.

Position dumbbells just outside shoulder width with elbows slightly in front of body. Maintain neutral spine with chest up and shoulders back.

Lower the dumbbells in a controlled manner by bending the elbows, allowing them to track down and slightly forward until dumbbells reach approximately chin to upper chest level.

Press dumbbells upward and slightly inward through mid-palms, extending arms overhead until near lockout. Maintain slight elbow bend at top. Return to starting position with control.
