1
Stand upright with feet hip-width apart, holding a dumbbell in each hand at your sides with a neutral grip. Keep your torso upright and core engaged.
2
Step forward with one leg, lowering your body by bending both knees until the back knee nearly touches the ground and front thigh is parallel to the floor. Maintain an upright posture throughout.
3
Lower your body under control by flexing the front knee and hip while the back knee descends toward the ground. Keep the front knee tracking over your ankle, not extending past your toes.
4
Drive through the front heel and extend both legs to return to standing position. Push off powerfully to return to the starting position, then repeat on the opposite leg in an alternating walking pattern.
