1
Stand upright with feet hip-width apart, holding dumbbells at sides with neutral grip. Maintain neutral spine and engage core. Position body weight evenly distributed across both feet.
2
Take a controlled step forward with one leg, keeping dumbbells at arm's length. Ensure chest remains upright and shoulders are back. The stepping leg should lead the movement.
3
Lower your body by bending the front knee to approximately 90 degrees while keeping the rear knee hovering just above the ground. The front knee should track over the ankle without extending past the toes. Lower in a controlled manner.
4
Drive through the front heel and return to standing position by extending the front knee and hip. Return to starting position and repeat on the opposite leg, or continue in alternating fashion.
