1
Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, holding dumbbells at chest height with palms facing inward and elbows bent. Maintain an upright torso with neutral spine and core engaged.
2
Position feet firmly on ground with weight distributed evenly across all four corners of the feet. Keep chest up and shoulders back, ready to descend into the squat position.
3
Lower your body by simultaneously bending at the hips and knees, driving them outward. Descend in a controlled manner until thighs reach parallel to the ground or slightly below, maintaining an upright torso and keeping dumbbells at chest height.
4
Drive through the midfoot and heels to extend the hips and knees, rising back to the starting position. Maintain control throughout the ascent and return to full standing extension without locking out knees.
