1
Sit upright on a bench with back support, feet flat on floor, core engaged. Hold dumbbells at shoulder height with elbows bent at approximately 90 degrees, palms facing forward.
2
Grip dumbbells firmly with neutral wrist position. Retract shoulder blades slightly and maintain upright torso position throughout the movement.
3
Lower dumbbells in a controlled manner by allowing elbows to descend and move slightly outward, bringing dumbbells down toward shoulder level while maintaining slight elbow bend.
4
Press dumbbells upward and slightly inward in an arc motion, extending arms overhead without locking out elbows. Return to starting position at shoulder height with control.
