1
Sit upright on a bench with back support. Position feet flat on the floor or footrest. Hold dumbbells at shoulder height with elbows bent at 90 degrees, palms facing forward.
2
Grip dumbbells firmly with neutral wrist position. Ensure shoulders are packed and stable against the backrest. Take a deep breath to brace the core.
3
Lower the dumbbells in a controlled manner by allowing elbows to descend, maintaining a slight bend. Keep the movement under control as the dumbbells travel downward to approximately shoulder level.
4
Press the dumbbells upward and slightly inward by extending the elbows and engaging the deltoids. Return to the starting position with control, exhaling during the pressing motion. Maintain tension throughout the movement.
