1
Stand upright with feet hip-width apart, holding a dumbbell in each hand at sides with arms straight, chest up, and core engaged. Position shoulders back and maintain neutral spine alignment.
2
Grip dumbbells firmly with neutral hand position. Engage your core and maintain upright posture. Distribute weight evenly across both feet with toes pointed forward.
3
Lower your body by simultaneously flexing both knees and hips, descending as if sitting back into a chair. Keep dumbbells at sides, chest up, and knees tracking over toes. Lower until thighs reach approximately parallel to ground or comfortable depth.
4
Drive through heel and midfoot to extend hips and knees, returning to standing position. Maintain dumbbells at sides and keep torso upright throughout the ascent. Complete the repetition at full hip and knee extension.
