Dumbbell One Arm Zottman Preacher Curl

Instructions

1
Sit upright on a flat bench with feet firmly planted on the floor. Keep your back against the backrest and maintain neutral spine alignment. Position yourself so your torso is perpendicular to the ground.
2
Grasp a dumbbell in each hand with a neutral grip (palms facing each other). Let your arms hang naturally at your sides with elbows positioned close to your torso. Keep your shoulders relaxed and retracted.
3
Lower the dumbbells in a controlled manner by extending the elbows, allowing the weights to descend along the sides of your body. Maintain a slight bend in the elbows at the bottom position and keep your upper arms stationary throughout the movement.
4
Curl the dumbbells upward by flexing the elbows, driving the weights toward your shoulders in an arc motion. Squeeze the biceps at the peak of the contraction, then reverse the movement back to the starting position in a controlled manner.
