1
Sit on a weight bench with back support. Position feet flat on floor or footrest. Hold dumbbells at shoulder height with elbows bent at approximately 90 degrees, palms facing forward.
2
Grip dumbbells firmly with neutral wrist alignment. Ensure shoulders are packed back and down. Engage core and maintain upright torso position throughout the movement.
3
Lower the dumbbells in a controlled manner by flexing the elbows, bringing weights toward shoulders or slightly behind head. Maintain upper arm position and control the eccentric phase over 2-3 seconds.
4
Press dumbbells upward by extending the elbows, driving through the triceps until arms are nearly fully extended at the top. Squeeze triceps at full extension before lowering to next repetition.
