1
Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, holding a dumbbell in each hand at shoulder height with palms facing forward and elbows bent at 90 degrees. Keep your torso upright and core engaged.
2
Take a deep breath and prepare your core. Ensure dumbbells are held firmly at shoulder level with a neutral spine and shoulders back.
3
Lower your body by bending your knees and hips simultaneously, descending into a squat position. Lower until your knees reach approximately 90 degrees, keeping weight in your heels and chest upright.
4
Drive through your heels to extend your knees and hips explosively, pressing dumbbells overhead as you rise to standing position. Extend arms fully overhead at the top, then lower dumbbells back to shoulder height to complete the repetition.
