Sit upright on a flat bench with feet flat on the floor. Hold dumbbells at arm's length with palms facing forward. Keep elbows stationary against your torso throughout the movement.

Grip dumbbells with a neutral shoulder-width stance. Position shoulders back and maintain neutral spine alignment. Ensure elbows remain tucked and stationary.

Lower the dumbbells in a controlled manner by extending the elbows, allowing the weights to travel downward while maintaining constant elbow position. Continue until arms reach near full extension without locking out.

Contract the biceps and curl the dumbbells upward in an arc motion, bringing them toward shoulder level. Squeeze at the top of the movement, then reverse the motion to return to starting position under control.
