1
Sit on an adjustable weight bench inclined at 45-60 degrees with feet flat on the floor. Grip a dumbbell in each hand with neutral grip (palms facing each other). Arms should be fully extended above the chest.
2
Position dumbbells at shoulder width apart directly above the chest with elbows slightly bent. Ensure stable seating with shoulders firmly against the backrest and core engaged.
3
Lower the dumbbells in a controlled manner by bending the elbows, bringing the weights down toward the sides of the chest in an arc pattern. Keep elbows at approximately 45 degrees from the body, lowering until dumbbells reach mid-chest level.
4
Press the dumbbells upward and together by extending the elbows, returning to the starting position with arms fully extended above the chest. Squeeze the triceps at the top of the movement before beginning the next repetition.
