Stand upright with feet shoulder-width apart, core engaged, and neutral spine. Hold a dumbbell in each hand with arms fully extended at your sides, palms facing forward.

Maintain a neutral grip on the dumbbells with wrists straight and elbows positioned close to the torso. Keep shoulders relaxed and engaged throughout the movement.

Lower the dumbbells in a controlled manner by extending the elbows, returning to the starting position with arms nearly fully extended. Maintain tension on the biceps throughout the eccentric phase without locking out the elbows.

Flex the elbows and curl the dumbbells upward in an arc toward the shoulders, keeping elbows stationary and close to the body. Squeeze the biceps at the top of the movement, then begin the descent.
