1
Stand upright with feet hip-width apart on a flat surface, holding dumbbells at shoulder height with arms bent and palms facing forward. Position one foot forward on the aerobic step platform.
2
Grip dumbbells firmly with neutral wrist alignment. Establish a stable stance with the forward foot elevated on the step and rear foot planted on the ground behind.
3
Lower your body by bending both knees, descending into a lunge position with the back knee approaching the floor. Keep the torso upright and front knee tracking over the ankle.
4
Drive through the front heel to extend both legs, returning to the starting position. Push off the step to power the movement and return to standing with dumbbells at shoulder height.
