Position feet parallel and firmly planted on the ground. Tighten your core and maintain a neutral spine. Ensure dumbbells are held securely at shoulder height.

Lower your body by bending at the hips and knees, descending into a squat position. Keep your chest up and weight distributed through your heels. Continue lowering until thighs are parallel to the ground or slightly below.

Drive through your heels and extend your legs to return to the starting position. Maintain an upright torso throughout the concentric phase. Squeeze your quadriceps at the top to complete the rep.
