1
Stand upright with feet shoulder-width apart, holding a dumbbell in each hand at arm's length with palms facing forward. Maintain neutral spine with shoulders back and chest open.
2
Ensure dumbbells are held with a neutral grip at sides, elbows positioned close to torso. Engage core and prepare for movement with controlled breathing.
3
Slowly lower the dumbbells back to the starting position by extending the elbows, controlling the descent over 2-3 seconds. Keep elbows stationary and core engaged throughout the lowering phase.
4
Flex the elbows and curl the dumbbells upward in a controlled arc, raising them toward shoulders while keeping elbows fixed at sides. Squeeze biceps at the top of the movement, then begin descent.
