Lie flat on a weight bench with your back firmly against the pad, feet planted on the floor or footrest. Position your body so your eyes are directly under the bar path.

Grip the dumbbells with a neutral grip (palms facing each other). Hold the dumbbells at chest level with elbows bent at approximately 90 degrees, positioned slightly outside shoulder width.

Lower the dumbbells in a controlled manner by allowing the elbows to descend and move outward slightly. Continue lowering until the dumbbells are approximately at mid-chest level, maintaining a slight bend in the elbows throughout the movement.

Press the dumbbells upward and together in an arc motion, driving through the chest muscles. Return to the starting position at chest level with control, stopping just short of full elbow lockout at the top.
