Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, holding dumbbells at sides with neutral grip. Maintain upright posture with chest up and core engaged. Distribute weight evenly across both feet.

Take a controlled breath and prepare to descend. Keep dumbbells at arm's length close to the body with a slight bend in elbows. Shoulders back and chest proud.
3
Lower your body by bending at the hips and knees, descending as if sitting back into a chair. Keep knees tracking over toes and chest upright. Descend until thighs are parallel to or slightly below parallel to the ground. Maintain neutral spine throughout.
4
Drive through midfoot and heels, extending hips and knees simultaneously to return to standing position. Keep dumbbells stable and body upright. Fully extend legs at the top without locking knees, then repeat for prescribed reps.
