1
Sit upright on a bench with feet flat on the floor. Back is straight against the bench backrest. Chest is open and core is engaged.
2
Grip dumbbells with a neutral hand position (palms facing inward) at shoulder height. Elbows bent at approximately 90 degrees, positioned slightly in front of the body.
3
Lower the dumbbells in a controlled arc down toward shoulder height, allowing elbows to descend while maintaining slight elbow bend. Dumbbells track in a smooth, arc-like path.
4
Press dumbbells upward and slightly forward in a vertical pressing motion, extending arms to near lockout while maintaining core stability. Return to shoulder height in a controlled manner.
