1
Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, holding a dumbbell in each hand at shoulder height with elbows bent at approximately 90 degrees and palms facing forward
2
Establish a stable, upright posture with core engaged, slight knee bend, and neutral spine alignment. Ensure dumbbells are held firmly with neutral wrist position
3
Lower the dumbbells in a controlled manner by bending the elbows, bringing the weights down toward shoulder level while maintaining elbow position slightly in front of the body
4
Press the dumbbells upward by extending the elbows and driving through the shoulders, pressing weights overhead until arms are nearly fully extended at the top of the movement, then return to shoulder height
