Maintain an upright torso position against the bench. Keep shoulders relaxed and retracted. Ensure elbows remain stationary at your sides throughout the movement.

Lower the dumbbells in a controlled manner by extending the elbows, allowing the weights to descend toward the starting position. Maintain a slight bend in the elbows at full extension.

Flex the biceps and curl the dumbbells upward by bending the elbows, bringing the weights toward shoulder height. Squeeze the biceps at the top of the movement, then return to the starting position with control.
