Slowly lower the extended leg in a controlled manner by bending at the knee, allowing gravity to assist the movement while maintaining tension in the quadriceps. Avoid letting the leg drop completely or touch the ground.

Drive the leg back up to the starting position by contracting the quadriceps and extending the knee fully, returning to hip height in a smooth, controlled motion without locking out at the top.
