1
Stand upright with feet hip-width apart, torso vertical and core engaged. Position one leg forward in a lunge stance with the other leg extended straight behind for balance.
2
Step forward with one leg, placing the foot flat on the ground. Keep the rear leg extended with the heel slightly elevated. Maintain an upright posture with shoulders back and chest open.
3
Lower the body by bending the front knee, allowing the rear knee to descend toward the ground while keeping the torso upright. The front knee should track over the ankle without extending beyond the toes.
4
Drive through the front heel to extend the front knee and hip, returning to the starting position. Maintain control throughout the movement and keep the rear leg engaged for stability.
