Lie supine on floor with knees bent, feet flat and hip-width apart. Place hands behind head with fingers lightly supporting neck. Keep elbows open to sides.
2
Press lower back firmly into floor to engage core. Maintain neutral spine alignment with chin tucked slightly away from chest throughout movement.
3
Slowly lower torso back toward floor by extending at the hips and waist, allowing abdominal muscles to lengthen under tension. Control descent without relaxing completely.
4
Drive elbows forward while flexing spine and lifting shoulders off floor toward knees. Exhale forcefully during concentric phase. Return controlled to starting position without relaxing neck.
