Sit upright on the captain's chair with your back and head resting against the backrest. Grip the side handles firmly with both hands. Keep your torso stable and vertical throughout the movement.

Position yourself so your knees are bent at approximately 90 degrees with feet hanging naturally below the seat. Engage your core to maintain stability and prevent swinging.

Slowly lower your legs by bending at the knees, allowing your feet to drop downward in a controlled manner. Maintain tension in the quadriceps throughout this lengthening phase.

Drive your legs upward by extending at the knees, raising your feet toward hip height or slightly higher. Squeeze the quadriceps at the top of the movement before controlled descent.
