1
Stand facing the machine with feet shoulder-width apart. Position yourself centered between the two cable stations. Grasp the handles with a neutral grip at chest height.
2
Set feet in a stable stance with slight knee bend. Engage core and maintain upright posture. Hold handles with elbows slightly bent and positioned at approximately 90 degrees to torso.
3
Slowly allow the cables to pull your arms backward in a controlled manner, allowing the handles to move outward and slightly behind your body plane. Feel a stretch across the chest and anterior shoulders. Maintain slight elbow bend throughout.
4
Drive the handles forward and together using chest muscles, bringing hands to meet at centerline in front of chest. Squeeze at the point of full contraction, then slowly return to starting position with control.
