1
Stand in the center of the cable machine with feet shoulder-width apart and knees slightly bent. Position your body perpendicular to the machine with the handle at chest height. Maintain an upright torso with core engaged.
2
Grasp the handle with a neutral grip using one arm. Keep your shoulder in a stable position and ensure the arm is extended slightly back (abducted position) to create tension in the chest before initiating movement.
3
Slowly allow the cable handle to pull your arm backward by resisting the weight, extending your arm behind your body in a controlled manner. Feel the stretch across the chest as the pectoralis major lengthens. Maintain stable posture without rotating the torso.
4
Drive the handle forward and across your body by contracting the pectoralis major, bringing your arm back to the starting position at chest height. Complete the movement with a controlled squeeze at the end before returning to the stretched position.
