1
Stand facing the cable machine with feet shoulder-width apart, maintaining neutral spine alignment. Position yourself at a distance where the cable handle is at chest height when arms are extended.
2
Grasp the cable handle with both hands at chest level, elbows slightly bent. Engage core muscles and maintain stable upright posture with knees slightly flexed.
3
Slowly allow the cable to pull your torso backward into extension by controlling the weight, moving through the shoulder joint while maintaining core tension. Resist the pull of the cable throughout this lengthening phase.
4
Powerfully crunch forward by flexing the spine and drawing the ribcage toward the pelvis, pulling the cable handle downward and inward. Return to the starting position with controlled movement, maintaining constant tension on the abdominal muscles.
