1
Sit upright on the machine seat with your back against the backrest, feet flat on the floor or footrest, and torso positioned perpendicular to the ground. Grip the handle attachment with both hands at shoulder width.
2
Establish a firm seated position with neutral spine alignment. Depress your shoulders away from your ears and engage your core. Take a deep breath to prepare for the pull.
3
Slowly allow the handle to move forward in a controlled manner by extending your arms forward, feeling a stretch across your back and chest. Maintain an upright posture without leaning or rounding the spine. The movement should take 2-3 seconds.
4
Drive your elbows back and down, pulling the handle toward your torso while squeezing your shoulder blades together. Return to the starting position with arms extended, completing the rep. Exhale as you pull and maintain controlled tension throughout.
