1
Stand centered between two cable stations with feet shoulder-width apart, maintaining neutral spine and slight knee bend. Position the machine pulleys at approximately shoulder height.
2
Grasp each cable handle with a neutral grip (palms facing inward). Step forward slightly to create tension in the cables at the starting position with arms extended out to the sides at shoulder level.
3
In a controlled manner, allow the cables to pull your arms backward and outward, creating a slight stretch across the chest. Maintain a fixed elbow angle throughout the eccentric phase. Keep your torso stable without arching excessively.
4
Powerfully pull both cable handles together in a wide arc across your body, bringing the handles to meet at chest level. Squeeze the pectoralis major at the peak contraction. Return slowly to the starting position with arms extended at shoulder height.
