1
Stand facing the cable machine with feet hip-width apart, positioned approximately 2 feet in front of the apparatus. Grasp the frame handles at chest height with both hands for stability and balance.
2
Attach the cable handle to one ankle with the strap secured. Keep a slight bend in the standing leg knee, maintain an upright torso, and engage your core. Ensure your body remains perpendicular to the machine.
3
Slowly bring the working leg forward in a controlled manner, allowing the cable to pull your leg back to the starting position without fully relaxing tension at the end position.
4
Drive the working leg backward and upward, extending the hip by squeezing the glute while maintaining an upright torso position. Return to the starting position with control and repeat for prescribed repetitions before switching legs.
