Stand in the center of the cable machine with feet shoulder-width apart and knees slightly bent. Position the body upright with neutral spine and core engaged.

Grasp both cable handles with a neutral grip (palms facing inward). Start with arms extended outward at approximately shoulder height, creating a slight bend in the elbows. Keep shoulders retracted and chest up.

Slowly allow the handles to move backward and outward in a controlled manner, following the path of the cable system. Feel a stretch across the chest as the arms move back, maintaining the elbow bend throughout the movement.

Drive the handles forward in a wide arc by contracting the chest muscles, bringing both hands together at center body. Squeeze the pectoralis major at the peak of the movement, then control the return to the starting position.
