1
Sit upright on the machine bench with back firmly against the backrest, feet flat on the ground or footrest. Position arms on the armrest with elbows aligned with the pivot point of the machine.
2
Grip the handles with a neutral or slightly supinated grip (palms facing inward or slightly forward). Ensure shoulders are relaxed and elbows remain stationary throughout the movement.
3
Slowly lower the handles by extending the elbows, allowing the biceps to lengthen under control. Lower until arms reach near full extension without locking out the elbows, maintaining tension in the biceps.
4
Drive the handles upward by flexing the elbows and contracting the biceps. Curl the handles toward the shoulders, stopping just short of full contraction. Squeeze the biceps briefly at the top, then control the descent back to the starting position.
