Sit upright on the machine seat with your back firmly against the backrest, feet flat on the floor or footplate. Adjust the seat height so the handles align with mid-chest level.

Grasp both handles with a neutral grip (palms facing inward), elbows bent at approximately 90 degrees in line with shoulders. Maintain upright posture with core engaged.

Slowly allow the handles to return toward your body by opening your arms in a controlled arc, feeling a stretch across the chest. Keep elbows at shoulder height throughout the movement.

Press both handles forward and slightly inward in a smooth arc until arms are nearly extended, squeezing the chest at peak contraction. Return to starting position with control without locking elbows.
