1
Stand facing the cable machine with feet shoulder-width apart, knees slightly bent. Grasp the handle with both hands at chest height, maintaining an upright posture with shoulders back and core engaged.
2
Establish a stable stance with weight distributed evenly through both feet. Grip the handle firmly with hands positioned slightly wider than shoulder-width. Maintain neutral spine alignment throughout the movement.
3
Allow the cable to pull your arms forward and upward in a controlled manner, extending your arms while maintaining a slight bend at the elbows. Feel the stretch through your latissimus dorsi and shoulders as you resist the cable tension.
4
Pull the handle down and back toward your lower ribcage using your lats, driving your elbows down and back. Squeeze the latissimus dorsi at peak contraction, then return to starting position with control, resisting the cable's pull throughout the entire movement.
