1
Stand upright facing the cable machine with feet shoulder-width apart. Grasp the single-handle attachment with one arm extended overhead, maintaining neutral spine and core engagement.
2
Position body at slight angle to machine with arm fully extended upward. Grip the handle firmly with a neutral wrist position. Engage core and maintain stable stance throughout movement.
3
Slowly release tension and allow the cable to pull your arm back upward to the starting position with controlled resistance. Keep arm slightly bent and core tight to prevent lower back compensation.
4
Pull the handle downward and across your body toward your hip by driving elbow down and back. Squeeze latissimus at bottom position. Return to extended position under control without locking out shoulder.
